Supporting someone with dementia can be incredibly challenging.
You may be feeling sadness, frustration, resentment, guilt, grief, or anger. Perhaps you're coming to terms with a family member's recent diagnosis, struggling with difficult behaviours, or wondering how you’ll keep going. You might be seeking support so you can take a break—or facing the painful decision of whether full-time care is needed.
As a counsellor, I work exclusively with people who are supporting someone with dementia. This is a path I chose because of my own lived experience and the emotional rollercoaster it can bring. I offer a safe, understanding space where you can share your story, feel heard, and begin to find ways to manage your situation and move toward a more hopeful future.
I look forward to meeting you and hearing about your unique journey.
